The Corpus Agrimensorum Romanorum, a Roman treatise on land surveying is preserved in the manuscript known as ''Codex Guelfferbytanus 36.23 Augusteus 2'' – a 5th or 6th century illuminated manuscript. It is one of the few surviving illustrated, non-literary or non-religious manuscripts from late antiquity. The text is written in an uncial script, with red letters indicating the beginnings of paragraphs. The manuscript is preserved in the Herzog August Bibliothek, in Wolfenbüttel.〔(at the HAB Wolfenbüttel ).〕 == References ==
